My name is Joke Klootwijk and I live and work in Middelburg, Zeeland. I have been painting since 1984. My time is devoted to full time painting. Since 2002 I am a professional working watercolour artist. My paintings have there own unique style. Using thin glazes of paint, mostly wet-into-wet painting, makes my watercolours suggestive and moody. An always returning item in my watercolors is reflection. A very inspiring subject.
